At Excite, we value your unique background and want to be sure your experience matches the job. For the HIM Manager position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • At least 5 years’ in related HIM/supervisory role
  • Must have experience in at least one of the following areas: EMPI, Medical Editing, patient Referral, Birth Registry, Analysis or Joint Commission
  • Certificate in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) and/or Coding (CCS or CPC) is a plus
  • Oversee and supervise the daily operation of the Physician Support Services team by leading, directing, follow-up, and strategic planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Description:

  • Job Title: HIM Manager, Physician Support Services
  • Hospital: Level II Trauma Center and Teaching Facility  
  • Remote or Onsite: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
  • Length: Temp- Perm
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Work Schedule: Regular business hours, PST
