The Human Resource Credentialing Specialist will work closely with our Vice President of Compliance and our Human Resource Department to help streamline the credentialing process. They will be responsible for managing and fostering a positive relationship with our clinical professionals and clients while serving as a liaison for the leadership team as well as recruiting team.

OVERVIEW:

Our growing Travel Nursing & Allied Health consulting and recruiting division is looking to hire a Human Resource Credentialing Specialist for our Tampa Office. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors’ Degree, have credentialing experience, and most importantly be a team player and go-getter.

OUR HUMAN RESOURCE CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST WILL:

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in either Nursing or Allied Health travel credentialing
  • Establish effective professional channels of communication within the office as well as with clients, caregivers and field staff
  • Previous customer service experience, ensuring clinicians and internal staff needs are met
  • Obtain compliance according to client-specific specifications – maintaining proficiency in all support functions and activities to make sure office operations are met
  • Meet and maintain HIPAA regulations in regard to Protected Health Information
  • Assist candidates through the onboarding process while tracking and monitoring all pre-assignment, and contract specific requirements
  • Manage data entry, validation of data and data integrity for all credentialing requirements for caregivers and field staff
  • Obtain updated credentials from caregivers and field staff prior to expiration
  • Work within VMS, MSP, and GPO’s to upload documents into client technology in order to meet compliance standards
  • Meet and maintain The Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Certification standards
  • Assist and perform additional duties, including, but not limited to, ordering office supplies, answering telephone inquiries, photocopying, and monitoring incoming/outgoing facsimiles

  • At least 2 years’ experience
  • 1-3 years customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Healthcare staffing experience
