Qualifications

background and want to be sure your experience matches the job. For the Inpatient
Coder position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Must have 3+ years’ Inpatient coding experience
• Must have Epic and Optum CAC experience
• Must be AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) certification
• Review documents and code diagnosis and procedures
• Assign accurate codes accordingly to regulatory guidelines
• Complete all reports as requested
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
