At Excite, we value your unique background and want to be sure your experience matches the job. For the Pharmacy Prior Authorization Representative position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years’ experience of healthcare insurance pre-authorization/ verification
  • Experience with Insurance pre-authorization submissions and follow up for Injection and Infusion medications and services
  • Previous experience obtaining medical benefits and or authorizations through insurance payor portals, phone and websites
  • Experience collecting correct clinical information within the provider EMR system for insurance submission
  • Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, drug related HCPCS, CPT codes and LCD’s and NCD’s
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
